Status of compliance with the requirements

As the operator of khujo, we strive to make our online shop accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve accessibility and meet the requirements of the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.

We are currently aware that not all areas of our online shop are yet fully accessible. However, we are committed to closing these gaps promptly.

Non-accessible content

The following areas or content of our online shop may currently have accessibility restrictions:

Keyboard navigation

  • The shopping cart slider (overlay) that appears when you open the shopping cart is currently not fully accessible using the keyboard. When navigating with the tab key, you can exit the overlay without it closing automatically. The overlay remains visible even when the focus changes to other areas of the page.
  • Size selection on the product page is not possible via keyboard control; we are currently addressing this issue with the highest priority.

Technical accessibility

  • Limited accessibility with embedded cookie banner:
  • The cookie banner used on our website is provided by a third-party provider and currently has accessibility limitations. In particular, interactive elements (e.g., buttons) do not always have accessible names. This may result in the function or meaning of individual buttons being unclear to screen reader users.
  • We are in contact with the provider of the cookie banner solution and are committed to improving accessibility in accordance with WCAG requirements.

 Images and graphics

  • The model photos running through the marquee section do not contain alt text because the app in use does not support it. We are currently looking for an alternative for this section.

Non-text content

  • Alternative text for images : Some of our images, especially older product images and graphic elements, currently do not have fully optimized or sufficiently descriptive alternative text (alt text). We are continuously revising these and making them as meaningful and descriptive as possible to make the visual information accessible to all users.

We aim to remove all of the above-mentioned obstacles by the end of July at the latest.

Creation of this Accessibility Statement

This statement was created on June 24, 2025. The statement is based on a self-assessment and regular reviews of our online store.
